Homework, Friendship, and Enrichment All in One
Our School-Age Program provides a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and connect before and after school, during school vacations, and throughout the summer. Designed for children ages 5 through 12, the program offers a balance of academic support, enrichment opportunities, recreation, and social connection in a setting that encourages independence, confidence, and fun.
Grounded in developmentally appropriate practices, our program recognizes the unique needs and interests of older children. Educators create meaningful opportunities for children to build friendships, strengthen problem-solving and leadership skills, explore personal interests, and develop a strong sense of belonging within the program community.
Children participate in a variety of engaging experiences that may include homework support, STEM activities, creative arts, team-building games, physical activity, outdoor play, clubs, community projects, and hands-on enrichment opportunities. Activities are intentionally planned to encourage creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and self-expression while allowing children opportunities for choice and independence.
Our environment promotes respect, inclusion, and positive relationships, with educators using responsive interactions and positive guidance practices to support social-emotional development and responsible decision-making. Children are encouraged to take an active role in shaping their experiences, helping foster confidence, responsibility, and leadership skills.
During school vacations and summer programming, children enjoy expanded opportunities for exploration, special events, outdoor experiences, themed activities, and engaging projects that keep learning active and fun beyond the school day. Carefully selected field trip destinations offer children meaningful opportunities to discover, engage, and create lasting memories alongside their friends and teachers.
We value strong partnerships with families and maintain ongoing communication to support each child’s success, well-being, and development. Health, safety, and emotional well-being remain a top priority in all aspects of the program.
At the heart of our School-Age Program is the belief that children thrive when they are provided with meaningful relationships, enriching experiences, opportunities for independence and leadership, and a safe community where they feel valued and supported. We know that after a long day of structured learning, school-age children need a space to decompress and reconnect. Our program is built on the principle of “active choice.” Whether participating in high-energy games, creative projects, engaging field trips, or spending time in quiet spaces for reading and art, children are encouraged to take ownership of their experiences while developing confidence, responsibility, and lasting friendships.
