Building Strong Foundations for the Future
Our Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten Programs provide a nurturing, engaging, and enriching environment where children build the skills, confidence, and independence needed for future academic and social success. Designed for children approximately 2.9 to 5 years of age, our programs combine purposeful play, hands-on learning, and meaningful relationships to support the development of the whole child.
Grounded in developmentally appropriate practices, our classrooms foster curiosity, creativity, problem-solving, and a love of learning. Teachers thoughtfully plan experiences that support children’s cognitive, language, social-emotional, physical, and creative development while recognizing and valuing each child’s individual learning style and pace.
Children engage in a balance of teacher-guided and child-initiated learning experiences throughout the day, including early literacy, math exploration, science discovery, creative arts, sensory experiences, dramatic play, music and movement, and outdoor learning opportunities. Through rich interactions and play-based learning, children develop important skills such as communication, collaboration, self-regulation, critical thinking, and independence.
Our Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten classrooms are intentionally designed to encourage exploration, inquiry, and active engagement. Educators use positive guidance and responsive teaching practices to create inclusive learning communities where children feel safe, respected, and supported in taking risks and trying new things. Regularly scheduled field trips provide little learners with hands-on learning experiences that spark curiosity and connect classroom learning to the world around us.
As children prepare for kindergarten and beyond, our Pre-Kindergarten Program places additional emphasis on school readiness skills, including early literacy and numeracy, executive functioning, social-emotional development, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Learning experiences are designed to build confidence while maintaining the joy and excitement of early childhood.
We value strong partnerships with families and believe open communication and collaboration are essential to each child’s success. Together, we create a supportive foundation that helps children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
At the heart of our Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten Programs is the belief that children learn best through purposeful play, engaging experiences, meaningful relationships, and opportunities to discover the world around them. Transforming curiosity into competence, our teachers act as guides, helping children investigate “Big Questions” about the world around them. We don’t just teach children what to learn; we teach them how to learn through hands-on projects that spark a lifelong love of discovery. Our Preschool and Pre-K classrooms challenge growing minds while honoring the power of play.
